Where It’s All About H.I.M.
Holy Impact Ministries Statement Of Beliefs
We believe in one God, as he has revealed Himself in the Scriptures: Isa 43:11 I, yes I, am Adonai; besides me there is no deliverer. Deu 6:4 "Sh'ma, Yisra'el! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Isra'el! Adonai our God, Adonai is one]; Deu 6:5 and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources. We believe that Yahshua (Jesus) is the Son of God, the Mashiach (Messiah), the Eternal One who is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us: Rom 1:2 God promised this Good News in advance through his prophets in the Tanakh. Rom 1:3 It concerns his Son—he is descended from David physically; Rom 1:4 he was powerfully demonstrated to be Son of God spiritually, set apart by his having been resurrected from the dead; he is Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord. We believe that the Ruach Hakodesh (Spirit of God) comforts, teaches, leads, indwells and empowers all whom He fills, and leads a true believer to follow in the footsteps of our Messiah: Joh 14:26 But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you. We believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of Yahovah God: Rom 3:22 and it is a righteousness that comes from God, through the faithfulness of Yeshua the Messiah, to all who continue trusting. For it makes no difference whether one is a Jew or a Gentile, Rom 3:23 since all have sinned and come short of earning God's praise. We believe that Yahshua came for the lost sheep of Israel to join the two sticks of Ezekiel back together into one stick (Ezekiel 37:16-23) so that the nations of the world could once again be grafted into them: Mat 15:24 He said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Isra'el." Mat 10:5 These twelve Yeshua sent out with the following instructions: "Don't go into the territory of the Goyim, and don't enter any town in Shomron, Mat 10:6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Isra'el. We believe in what the "New Covenant" proclaims. that Yahovah God has made this Covenant with "The House Of Israel" and only "The House Of Israel" and that his laws would be written in the hearts, and in the minds of his people: Jer 31:32 "For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Isra'el after those days," says Adonai: "I will put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Heb 10:16 " 'This is the covenant which I will make with them after those days,' says Adonai: 'I will put my Torah on their hearts, and write it on their minds . . . ,' " Heb 10:17 he then adds, " 'And their sins and their wickednesses I will remember no more.'" We believe in the grafting in of the nations of the earth (Gentiles, Goyim), into the "Olive Tree" that is "The House Of Israel": Rom 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you—a wild olive—were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree, Rom 11:18 then don't boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you. Rom 11:19 So you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." Rom 11:20 True, but so what? They were broken off because of their lack of trust. However, you keep your place only because of your trust. So don't be arrogant; on the contrary, be terrified! Rom 11:21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he certainly won't spare you! Gal 3:26 For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness; Gal 3:27 because as many of you as were immersed into the Messiah have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom Gal 3:28 there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one. Gal 3:29 Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are seed of Avraham and heirs according to the promise. We believe that Yahshua's death, burial, and resurrection accomplished the atonement for all who would place their faith in Him, and follow in his ways: Act 2:38 Kefa answered them, "Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh! Act 2:39 For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away—as many as Adonai our God may call!" We believe salvation is by faith through the grace of God alone, and not by human efforts. We obey the laws of God NOT TO BE SAVED... but BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED... by the grace of God and his sons work at the cross: 1Jn 5:2 Here is how we know that we love God's children: when we love God, we also do what he commands. 1Jn 5:3 For loving God means obeying his commands. Moreover, his commands are not burdensome, 1Jn 2:3 The way we can be sure we know him is if we are obeying his commands. 1Jn 2:4 Anyone who says, "I know him," but isn't obeying his commands is a liar—the truth is not in him. Rom 3:31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law. Rom 8:6 Having one's mind controlled by the old nature is death, but having one's mind controlled by the Spirit is life and shalom. Rom 8:7 For the mind controlled by the old nature is hostile to God, because it does not submit itself to God's Torah—indeed, it cannot. Rom 8:8 Thus, those who identify with their old nature cannot please God. We believe that our Messiah did not come to abolish or do away with even the crossing of a "T" or the dotting of an "i" of his law: Mat 5:17 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Mat 5:18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud ( י ) or a stroke will pass from the Torah—not until everything that must happen has happened. We believe that sin is the transgression of the Law: 1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. We believe that the wages of sin is death: Rom 6:23 For what one earns from sin is death; but eternal life is what one receives as a free gift from God, in union with the Messiah Yahshua, our Lord. We believe that if there is no "Law" then there is no "Sin" and if there is no "Sin" you don't need "Grace" and if you don't need "Grace" then you don't need a "Savior". We beleive that our Messiah came NOT to do away with the "Law" (Matthew 5:17) but rather the "penalty" of the "Law" also known to the Apostle Paul as "The Law Of Sin And Death": Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. We believe in the spiritual unity of equality of all believers in Messiah Yeshua: Gal 3:28 there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one. Gal 3:29 Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are seed of Avraham and heirs according to the promise. We believe that everyone who trusts in Yahshua is grafted in to the “olive tree.. which is the Israelite people and who's root is Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, and that we are heirs of Abraham (Gal 3:27-29) (Romans 11:11 - 24; Jeremiah 31:33) We believe in full immersion in water must be done in the name of Yahshua HaMashiach. Act 2:38 Kefa answered them, "Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh! Act 2:39 For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away—as many as Adonai our God may call!" Joh 3:5 Yeshua answered, "Yes, indeed, I tell you that unless a person is born from water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. We do not hold to or believe in the following: “Two House” teaching as it is a form of replacement theology, that any nation is made up of any one of the lost tribes. In trying to determine which lost tribe you come from as our identity must be in Messiah. That Yahovah's laws, commandments, precepts, or appointments are nailed to a cross somewhere. We do believe that Israel holds some who say that they are Jews but are not: Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. But we also believe that Gods people are in Israel, and that there are those of our Jewish brothers and sisters that are still to this day being grafted in through faith in our Messiah, the Messiah that they themselves brought into this world who came from the tribe of Judah and the house of David. It is our Messiah who came out of the tribe of Judah and who came out of the house of David that covers the sins of the those who would accept him, and know that he is the Son of Yahovah God.. the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We also believe that there is only one way.  Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
